At OrCal Seamless Rain Gutters, we install seamless rain gutters on homes, shops, garages, and commercial buildings throughout Northern California. We also take on select jobs in Southern Oregon.
We've worked on everything from homes in Redding to properties up around Mount Shasta, and one thing's for sure: not every house needs the same gutter setup.
Some roofs dump a lot of water in one spot. Others have gutters that are too small or downspouts that aren't doing much good where they're at. And if you're up in snow country, you've got a whole different set of things to think about.
That's why we like to take a look at the house and figure out what it actually needs before recommending anything.
We work throughout Siskiyou and Shasta counties, including Yreka, Weed, Mount Shasta, Dunsmuir, Redding, and surrounding communities. We also serve Truckee and the Lake Tahoe area.
Most people don't give their rain gutters much thought until something starts going wrong.
Maybe water is pouring over the edge every time it rains. Maybe there's a puddle next to the foundation that never used to be there. Or maybe the gutters are just old, leaking, and ready to be replaced.
Whatever the case, we'll take a look and help you figure out what's going on.
We install seamless rain gutters, including 6-inch OG K-style gutters. The larger size gives you more room to handle runoff, which can be helpful on bigger roofs or homes that get a lot of rain.
We also install downspouts, gutter guards, and snow brakes. Some homes need a pretty straightforward gutter replacement. Others need a little more thought put into where the water is going and how to get it away from the house.
If you've got a leaking corner or a loose section, sometimes a gutter repair is all that's needed.
We want the gutters to look good, but we care just as much about how they work once the rain starts coming down.
You can see more of what we offer on our rain gutter services page.
If you've spent a winter around Mount Shasta, you know snow can be rough on a house.
One day there's a couple of feet sitting on the roof, and the next day a big section lets loose. If there's a gutter underneath, it can take a pretty good hit.
We've seen how much damage sliding snow can do, especially on metal roofs. Gutters can get bent, pulled loose, or torn completely off the fascia.
That's why we also install snow guards and snow brakes on roofs where they're a good fit.
We especially recommend looking into snow brakes for metal roofs in areas that get heavy snowfall. Properly selected and installed snow retention systems can help reduce sudden snow slides, although the right setup depends on the roof and local snow conditions.
A house in Redding doesn't need the same setup as a cabin in Mount Shasta or Truckee. We keep that in mind when we're looking at a job.
